MercSongs features the original music of Jon Mercer (there are some re-makes here as well).

I’m an independent, non-monetary home studio music producer – trying to capture some of the beauty and mystery of this journey in song.

I utilize the Logic Pro X DAW.

I sing, play acoustic guitar and percussion – and fill in with bass, organ and keyboards as needed. I employ the vast sounds and capabilities of the digital world to form the finished product.

Early influences were Herb Alpert, the Beatles, and Pat Metheny Group. I enjoy eveything from singer-songwriters, ’60’s and ’70’s pop, to American and Latin jazz to ambient.
